Umbreen Sheikh is the Founder and President of The Embrowerment® Foundation and also of Wink Brow Bar, a luxury beauty brand built on the belief that beauty, confidence, and human connection can transform lives.

Umbreen’s passion for empowerment and humanitarian work began at an early age. During a visit to Pakistan at just sixteen years old, she witnessed an eight-year-old girl serving guests in a family home while children of the same age played nearby. The stark contrast in opportunity, dignity, and circumstance left a lasting impression on her. The sadness and innocence in the young girl’s eyes became a defining memory that deeply shaped Umbreen’s understanding of inequality and human potential. Around the same time, the iconic image of Sharbat Gula - the young Afghan refugee photographed in 1984 - also profoundly impacted her world view and strengthened her desire to one day build something meaningful that could create opportunity and empowerment for others.
